I started doing stained glass in 1998. When my mother wanted to take a class. And asked me to do it with her, I said yes of course. Someone had to make sure she stayed out of trouble. We had such a great time doing it, we took the class three times. It was a senior citizen class through the City Parks, and I didn't really qualify, but they let me take the class anyway. A very nice group of people.

If you find yourself in Portland, Oregon you have to visit
Portland Saturday Market.
The market runs from March through December. (Saturdays and Sundays) And is a wonderful place to shop. They have some very talented artists.

And don't miss Powell's Book Store. It's a whole city block and has at least 3 floors of books, books, books. I love the place. You can spend hours there.
